Si è spenta oggi una luce che ha illuminato la vita di tantissime persone.
È venuto a mancare Silvano Bencini, uno dei soci fondatori e presidente di Imer Group, l’uomo che ha sognato e perseguito sempre, soprattutto professionalmente, obiettivi ambiziosi, da raggiungere insieme, e che in tutta la sua lunga vita non hai mai smesso di dedicarsi alla sua azienda e alle persone che ne facevano parte, con una passione e una lungimiranza difficilmente eguagliabili.
È sempre stato e rimarrà l’anima dell’azienda, e allo stesso tempo uno di noi. L’uomo che, al di là del ruolo che ha ricoperto, ha sempre avuto una mano tesa verso tutti, che ha fatto dei rapporti personali la sua missione di vita, che ha saputo instaurare relazioni genuine con le persone, senza barriere linguistiche e culturali.
L’uomo e l’imprenditore che ha creduto nelle persone e che insieme ai suoi soci è voluto andare oltre e che, con determinazione e coraggio, ha sempre pensato che il gruppo industriale nato nei lontani anni ‘60 potesse diventare una grande realtà.
I soci, i clienti e i dipendenti erano per lui partner e amici: “Non dubitate mai che un piccolo gruppo di persone possa cambiare il mondo. In verità è l’unica cosa che è sempre accaduta” (Margaret Mead). In questo lui ha sempre fortemente creduto.
I numerosi riconoscimenti ricevuti nella sua vita lavorativa da istituzioni e imprenditori testimoniano, oltre ad una profonda stima nei suoi confronti come imprenditore, anche affetto sincero per la sensibilità e la schiettezza nei rapporti personali.
Tutti coloro che hanno avuto la fortuna di conoscerlo porteranno nel cuore un pezzo di lui, proprio come lui aveva a cuore le Persone, verso le quali esprimeva grande gentilezza d’animo e umanità.
Il suo sguardo brillante e appassionato verso la vita e per il suo lavoro ci guiderà sempre. Tutti noi gli siamo grati per quello che ci ha insegnato.
Resterà un punto di riferimento per tutti.

A light that illuminated the lives of so many has gone out today.
Silvano Bencini, one of the Founding Members and President of Imer Group, has passed away. He was the man who always dreamed and pursued, especially professionally, ambitious goals to achieve together. Throughout his long life, he never stopped dedicating himself to his company and the people who were part of it, with a passion and foresight that are difficult to match.
He has always been and will remain the soul of the company, and at the same time, one of us. The man who, beyond his role, always had a helping hand to everyone, who made personal relationships his life's mission, who knew how to establish genuine relationships with people, without linguistic or cultural barriers.
The man and entrepreneur who believed in people and who, together with his partners, wanted to go further and who, with determination and courage, always believed that the industrial group founded in the distant 1960s could become a great reality.
His associates, customers, and employees were partners and friends: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has" (Margaret Mead). He always firmly believed in this.
The numerous awards he received throughout his working life from institutions and entrepreneurs testify not only to their profound respect for him as an entrepreneur, but also to their sincere affection for his sensitivity and openness in personal relationships.
All those fortunate enough to know him will carry a piece of him in their hearts, just as he cared about people, toward whom he expressed great kindness and humanity.
His brilliant and passionate outlook on life and his work will always guide us. We are all grateful for what he taught us.
He will remain a point of reference for everyone.
